The club was formed 20:th of october 1983 and consists of approximately 45 active, youngsters and supporting members. We are located in a premise of 36x15 feet (12x5 m) in a building in the western part of Finspong (about 190 km south of Stockholm in Sweden).

The club has built up a “double” railroad in scale H0 (1:87) consisting of both DC tracks and AC tracks. Total length of the tracks are approximately 750 feet (250 m).

The DC- and AC tracks have been converted into digital controlling, but we still have the possibility to run the tracks with analogue control. The tracks wind across three tables that are connected in the short end of the premise. The double tracks consists of long single tracks that partly runs along each other. In two places they are connected to each other for exchange of veichles. There is also a turntable that is used for both systems.

The landscape surrounding the tracks is completed up to about 75%. Some parts of the landscape and the background paintings have been influenced by Finspong and the surroundings. Among other things there is Finspong station with surrounding buildings from 1950 to 1960.

The members use their own trains while the tracks and other equipment are owned by the club. Mainly we run swedish models but it’s OK if a “crocodile” an american F7, a big german steam engine or any other interesting foreign veichle appears on Finspong station.
We keep an open approach, whch means that there is also room for NÖJ history (local railroad around Finspong) or studies of turbine steem engines.

Every Wednesday we meet at the club for driving our trains and working with the railroad and landscape. Every now and then we visit other model railroad clubs and visits also other activities connected to railroad.

Visitors are very welcome to visit us at the club.
